Victorian Current Acts Victorian Current Acts(1) On the settlement of a contract for the sale of land, on which there is a building in respect of which a building manual has been approved by a relevant building surveyor under section 41B(1) of the Building Act 1993 , the vendor of the land must give an up-to-date copy of the approved building manual to the purchaser of the land.
Penalty: 60 penalty units, in the case of a natural person;
300 penalty units, in the case of a body corporate.
(2) Subsection (1) does not apply if the land is affected by an owners corporation.
