Victorian Current Acts Victorian Current Acts(1) Except where otherwise provided in this Act, a pension is payable during the life of the person entitled to it.
(2) A pension in respect of a child is payable until the end of the fortnightly pay period in which—
(a) he or she attains the age of 18 years; or
(b) in the case of a student, he or she attains the age of 25 years or the Board ceases to be satisfied that he or she is a full-time student; or
(c) he or she dies—
whichever is the earlier.
(3) The Board may require any evidence it thinks fit in order to decide whether or not a child is a full-time student.

(4) A pension in respect of an adult child is payable until the end of the fortnightly pay period in which—
(a) the Board ceases to be satisfied that he or she is an adult child; or
(b) he or she dies—
whichever is the earlier.
