Victorian Current Acts Victorian Current Acts(1) A person being detained under a preventative detention order who is a child is entitled to contact the Commission for Children and Young People.
(2) The form of contact that the child is entitled to have with another person under subsection (1) includes—
(a) being visited by that other person; and
(b) communicating with that other person by telephone or electronic communication.
