(1) If not less than two thirds of the members of the Board for the time being holding office so agree, a meeting of the Board may be held by means of a method of communication, or by means of a combination of methods of communication, approved by the President of the Board or Deputy President of the Board for the purposes of that meeting.

(1A) For the purposes of subsection (1), members of the Board may come to an agreement by any means of electronic communication.

(2) For the purposes of this Part, a member of the Board who participates in a meeting held as permitted by subsection (1) is present at the meeting even if the member is not physically present at the same place as another member participating in the meeting.

(3) This section applies to a meeting or part of a meeting of the Board conducted for the purposes of the Board performing its functions under this Act.
