VICTORIA POLICE ACT 2013 - SECT 1

The purposes of this Act are to—

        (a)     re-enact and modernise the law relating to the governance and regulation of Victoria Police; and

        (b)     retitle and substantially repeal the Police Regulation Act 1958 .
