The following are the ranks of police officers, in descending order of seniority—
(a) Chief Commissioner;
(b) Deputy Commissioner;
(d) commander;
(e) chief superintendent;
(f) superintendent;
(g) chief inspector;
(h) inspector;
(i) senior sergeant;
(j) sergeant;
(k) senior constable;
(l) constable.
