Victorian Current Acts Victorian Current Acts(1) In the case of a complaint made to a police officer or protective services officer, the Chief Commissioner must in writing advise the complainant of the results of the investigation and of the action taken or proposed to be taken.

(2) Subsection (1) does not apply if the Chief Commissioner is of the opinion that it would be contrary to the public interest to advise the complainant of the results of the investigation or of the action taken or proposed to be taken.
