VICTORIA POLICE ACT 2013 - SECT 181

Chief Commissioner must inform person who made disclosure of outcome of investigation

    (1)     Subject to section 182, on completing an investigation under this Part, the Chief Commissioner must inform the person who made the public interest complaint of the outcome of the investigation.

    (2)     Subsection (1) does not apply if—

        (a)     the public interest complaint was made anonymously; or

        (b)     the IBAC has not disclosed the identity of the person who made the public interest complaint to the Chief Commissioner of Police under section 77(2) of the Independent Broad-based Anti-corruption Commission Act 2011 .
