VICTORIA POLICE ACT 2013 - SECT 200B

Police custody officers have the following duties—

S. 200B(a) amended by No. 45/2017 s. 47(a).

        (a)     to assist with the operation of police gaols and to provide administrative support at police stations in accordance with this Act and the Corrections Act 1986 ;

        (b)     to supervise and transport persons in accordance with this Act and the Corrections Act 1986 ;

S. 200B(ba) inserted by No. 64/2017 s. 29.

        (ba)     to supervise and transport persons under  section 18 of the Major Crime (Investigative Powers) Act 2004 ;

S. 200B(c) amended by No. 45/2017 s. 47(b).

        (c)     any other duties that are required for the purposes of paragraph (a) or (b) as determined by the Chief Commissioner from time to time.
