Victorian Current Acts Victorian Current Acts(1) A person referred to in section 248(1)(a) to (d) must not disclose or use vehicle accident information disclosed to that person by a police officer, or a Victoria police employee, except for an authorised purpose.
Penalty: 60 penalty units.
(2) A person who obtains vehicle accident information from a person referred to in section 248(1)(a) to (d) must not disclose or use vehicle accident information except for an authorised purpose.
Penalty: In the case of an individual, 60 penalty units;
In the case of a body corporate, 300 penalty units.
