Victorian Current Acts Victorian Current Acts(1) If a person who is the holder of a water-use registration is the owner of the land specified in the registration and that person transfers his or her ownership of the whole of the land so specified to another person, that person is taken to be the holder of the water-use registration.
(2) If a person who is the holder of a water-use registration is the owner of the land specified in the registration and that person transfers his or her ownership of part only of the land so specified to another person, the registration is taken to be cancelled on the day on which the transfer of ownership takes place.
