WORKPLACE INJURY REHABILITATION AND COMPENSATION ACT 2013 - SECT 533

Data to be collected by the Chief Executive Officer

S. 533(1) amended by No. 15/2021 s. 41(2)(a).

    (1)     The Chief Executive Officer must, on or before 1 September each year, collect and provide the Minister with the following data in respect of the year ending on the preceding 30 June—

        (a)     the number of disputes referred for conciliation;

        (ab)     the number of disputes referred for arbitration;

        (b)     the number of matters referred to a Medical Panel;

        (c)     the number and nature of complaints referred to ACCS about the conduct of ACCS;

        (d)     the number and nature of the outcomes of the disputes referred for conciliation;

        (da)     the number and nature of the outcomes of the disputes referred for arbitration;

        (db)     the number of extensions of time granted by ACCS under section 301P;

        (e)     the number of medical reports received or requested by ACCS under section 289;

        (f)     the number of instances the Chief Executive Officer allowed an extension of time for lodging an application or allowed an application to be lodged out of time under section 289B;

        (g)     any other information that the Minister requests be provided.

    (2)     A person may, in writing, request the Chief Executive Officer to make the data collected under subsection (1) publicly available.

    (3)     If the Chief Executive Officer receives a request under subsection (2), the Chief Executive Officer must publish the data as soon as reasonably possible on an Internet site maintained by ACCS.
