Victorian Consolidated Regulations Victorian Consolidated Regulations(1) If in any Rule a time is prescribed for taking any step or doing any act by reference to the date of filing an appearance, the time for taking any step or doing any act shall be determined by the date on which the Registrar gives notice under Rule 4.07.
(2) A defendant who has been given leave to defend a proceeding to which this Order applies shall be taken to have filed an appearance on the day leave was given.
