Victorian Consolidated Regulations Victorian Consolidated RegulationsA licence holder must not, as part of providing an animal registry service, establish a record relating to a prescribed animal implanted with a permanent identification device that was implanted in the prescribed animal by an authorised implanter in accordance with the Act and these Regulations or the Domestic Animals Regulations 2005 unless the licence holder—
(a) has checked the records of any other licence holder providing an animal registry service in accordance with the Act and these Regulations; and
(b) is satisfied that the records do not include a record for that animal.
