Victorian Consolidated Regulations Victorian Consolidated RegulationsA pharmacist who supplies a Schedule 8 poison in a quantity that allows for not more than 2 days' treatment must retain the prescription if the pharmacist—
(a) does not recognise the handwriting in which the prescription is written as being the purported prescriber's handwriting; and
(b) after taking reasonable steps, cannot verify that the prescription was written by the purported prescriber.
Penalty: 100 penalty units.
