FISHERIES REGULATIONS 2019 - REG 188

Activities authorised by Eel Fishery Access Licences

An Eel Fishery Access Licence authorises the licence holder to carry out the following activities—

        (a)     the taking for sale, in the waters specified in the licence, of—

              (i)     eel, goldfish, roach or tench; or

              (ii)     carp or any other noxious aquatic species;

        (b)     the use or possession, in the waters specified in the licence, of fyke nets in the number specified in the licence under regulation 43, or any other commercial fishing equipment specified in the licence under regulation 43 ,;

        (c)     the engagement of one or more licence operators and one or more crew members.
