Victorian Consolidated Regulations Victorian Consolidated Regulations(1) A person must not interfere or tamper with, or damage, the correct operation of a vessel monitoring system installed on a boat used for carrying out an activity authorised under a fishery licence.
Penalty: 20 penalty units.
(2) Subregulation (1) does not apply to a person who is—
(a) repairing, modifying or configuring the automatic location communicator of a vessel monitoring system; or
(b) an agent of the manufacturer of the system.
