Victorian Consolidated Regulations Victorian Consolidated Regulations(1) The Authority may by written notice require the operator of a facility or a person who intends to be the operator of a facility to provide any information about the operation of the facility that the Authority reasonably requires for the purposes of this Part.
(2) A notice under subregulation (1) must specify —
(a) the information required; and
(b) the date by which the information must be provided.
(3) A person who receives a notice under subregulation (1) must provide the information in accordance with the notice.
Penalty: 100 penalty units for a natural person;
500 penalty units for a body corporate.
Note
Section 154 of the Act provides that a natural person may refuse or fail to give information required by these Regulations if giving the information would tend to incriminate the person.
