OCCUPATIONAL HEALTH AND SAFETY REGULATIONS 2017 - REG 45

An employer must ensure that a fixed or portable ladder used to reduce a risk associated with a fall—

        (a)     is fit for the purpose; and

        (b)     is appropriate for the duration of the task; and

        (c)     is set up in a correct manner.
