OCCUPATIONAL HEALTH AND SAFETY REGULATIONS 2017 - REG 470

Additional matters to be satisfied before major hazard facility licence can be granted

In addition to the requirements specified in Subdivision 1, the Authority must refuse to grant a major hazard facility licence if it is not satisfied that—

        (a)     the safety case accompanying the application has been prepared in accordance with Division 8 of
Part 5.2 (Major hazard facilities); or

        (b)     the applicant has complied with the provisions of Divisions 6 and 9 of
Part 5.2 (Major hazard facilities), other than  regulation 395(a)(ii).
