Victorian Consolidated Regulations Victorian Consolidated Regulations(1) At any stage of a proceeding, the Court may give any direction for the conduct of the proceeding which it thinks conducive to its effective, complete, prompt and economical determination.
(2) A party may apply for directions on the hearing either of a summons filed for the purpose or of a summons for other relief.

(3) The Court may, of its own motion, convene a directions hearing at any time.
