Victorian Consolidated Regulations Victorian Consolidated Regulations(1) An undertaking filed under Rule 41.13 shall consist of an undertaking by the solicitor for the applicant or, where there is no solicitor, by the applicant, to pay to the Prothonotary an amount equal to the expenses incurred in consequence of the letter of request.
(2) The Prothonotary may require the applicant or the applicant's solicitor to give security to the Prothonotary's satisfaction for the expenses referred to in paragraph (1).
