ACCIDENT COMPENSATION AMENDMENT ACT 2010 (NO. 9 OF 2010) - SECT 50

After section 99(12) of the Accident Compensation Act 1985 , insert —

    "(12A)     Before compensation under subsection (11) or (12) ceases, the Authority or self-insurer—

        (a)     must give at least 28 days written notice to the worker; and

        (b)     must state in the notice—

              (i)     the reasons for giving the notice; and

              (ii)     the date when the entitlement will cease.".
