AUSTRALIAN CONSUMER LAW AND FAIR TRADING ACT 2012 (NO. 21 OF 2012) - SECT 206

Interim cease trading injunctions

The Supreme Court may grant an interim injunction pending determination of an application under section 205, if, in the opinion of the Court it is desirable to do so and it appears to the Court that—

        (a)     the person intends to engage in or continue to engage in conduct of a kind referred to in paragraphs (a) to (e) of section 205(1); and

        (b)     there is an imminent danger of substantial damage to any person if the person referred to in paragraph (a) engages in conduct of that kind.
