Victorian Numbered Acts Victorian Numbered Acts(1) A coroner holding an inquest is not bound by the rules of evidence and may be informed and conduct an inquest in any manner that the coroner reasonably thinks fit.
(2) Parts II, IIA, III and IIIA of the Evidence Act 1958 do not apply to the Coroners Court.
