DISABILITY SERVICE SAFEGUARDS ACT 2018 (NO. 38 OF 2018) - SECT 143

Publication and commencement of registration standards and guidelines

(1) Subject to subsection (2), a registration standard or a guideline takes effect—

(a) on the day on which it is published on the Board's Internet site; or

(b) if a later day is stated in the registration standard or guideline that is published on the Board's Internet site, on that day.

(2) A registration standard or guideline that requires the approval of the Minister does not take effect in accordance with subsection (1) unless the Minister has approved it before publication.
