(1) Within 30 days after making a decision under section 171, the Board—
(a) must give the applicant a written notice of the Board's decision; and
(b) if the Board registers the applicant, must give the applicant a certificate of registration.
(2) If the Board decides not to register the applicant, or to register the applicant for a type of registration, or in a division of the Register, other than that applied for, or subject to a condition, the notice must state—
(a) the reasons for the decision; and
(b) that the applicant may apply for review of the decision; and
(c) how an application for review may be made and the period within which the application must be made.
