DISABILITY SERVICE SAFEGUARDS ACT 2018 (NO. 38 OF 2018) - SECT 51

Decision to reopen complaint

    (1)     The Commission may decide to deal with a complaint in relation to which the Commission had decided to take no further action if—

        (a)     the Commission becomes aware of new information in respect of that complaint; or

        (b)     the Commission reasonably believes that further action should be taken in relation to that complaint.

    (2)     If the Commission acts under this section, the Commission must inform the complainant, the disability worker and the person who received or sought the disability service of the action taken as soon as practicable after taking it.
