(1) Subject to subsection (2), the Council, by instrument, may delegate its powers or functions under this Act to—
(a) a member of the Council; or
(b) a committee of the Council; or
(c) any member of staff of the University; or
(d) the academic board or its equivalent; or
(e) any other entity prescribed by the university statutes.
(2) The Council must not delegate—
(a) this power of delegation; or
(b) the power to appoint officers under section 9(1)(a); or
(c) the power to make university statutes.
