EMERGENCY MANAGEMENT LEGISLATION AMENDMENT ACT 2011 (NO. 56 OF 2011) - SECT 7

    (1)     In sections 8, 9, 10, 17, 17A, 17B, 19(1), 21(5), 21A(1), 23(1), 24, 38 and 39(d) of the Emergency Management Act 1986 for "Co-ordinator in Chief" (wherever occurring) substitute "Minister".

    (2)     Insert the following heading to section 9 of the Emergency Management Act 1986 —

" Committees established by Minister ".

    (3)     Insert the following heading to section 10 of the Emergency Management Act 1986 —

" Minister to prepare state emergency response plan ".

    (4)     Insert the following heading to section 17A of the Emergency Management Act 1986 —

" Minister to prepare state emergency recovery plan ".

    (5)     Insert the following heading to section 24 of the Emergency Management Act 1986 —

" Powers and duties of Minister ".
