GAMBLING REGULATION AMENDMENT (LICENSING) ACT 2008 (NO. 40 OF 2008) - SECT 1

The purpose of this Act is to amend the Gambling Regulation Act 2003 —

        (a)     to create a wagering and betting licence authorising the conduct of wagering on horse racing, harness racing and greyhound racing and the conduct of approved betting competitions;

        (b)     to create a keno licence authorising the conduct of keno games;

        (c)     to provide for the appointment of additional Deputy Chairpersons and commissioners to the Victorian Commission for Gambling Regulation.
