(1) If an order to sell is made under section 143, the sheriff must serve a notice of intention to sell the land on any person recorded in the Register kept under the Transfer of Land Act 1958 as having an interest in the land.
(2) A notice under sub-section (1) must—
(a) be in writing and contain the prescribed particulars; and
(b) be served in the prescribed manner not less than one month before the intended sale; and
(c) state—
(i) the amount owing at the date of the notice; and
(ii) that the sale will not proceed if payment is made within one month of the service of the notice; and
(iii) the address at which payment may be made.
