Victorian Numbered Acts Victorian Numbered Acts(1) The number of hours for which an infringement offender may be required to perform unpaid community work under a community work permit is one hour for each 0·2 fine unit or part of 0·2 fine unit of the outstanding fines in relation to the infringement warrant to which the permit applies with a minimum of 8 hours and a maximum of 500 hours.
(2) The total number of hours to be worked in any period of 7 days must not exceed 20.
(3) An infringement offender may work up to 40 hours in a period of 7 days if he or she requests to do so and signs a written consent to working the extra number of hours.
