INTEGRITY AND ACCOUNTABILITY LEGISLATION AMENDMENT (PUBLIC INTEREST DISCLOSURES, OVERSIGHT AND INDEPENDENCE) ACT 2019 (NO. 2 OF 2019) - SECT 81

    (1)     In section 72(2)(a) of the Victoria Police Act 2013 —

        (a)     for " Protected Disclosure Act 2012 " substitute " Public Interest Disclosures Act 2012 ";

        (b)     for "protected disclosure within the meaning of that Act" substitute "disclosure to which Part 6 of that Act applies".

    (2)     At the foot of section 72(2)(a) of the Victoria Police Act 2013 insert —

" Note

The disclosures to which Part 6 of the Public Interest Disclosures Act 2012 applies include a complaint by a police officer or protective services officer about the conduct of another police officer or protective services officer made under section 167(3).".
