Victorian Numbered Acts Victorian Numbered Acts(1) This Act (except sections 6, 8, 13, 17, 18, 21, 22, 25, 26 and 28) comes into operation on the day after the day on which it receives the Royal Assent.
(2) Section 13(1) is deemed to have come into operation on 1 October 2006.
(3) Section 8 comes into operation on the later of—
(a) the day after the day on which this Act receives the Royal Assent;
(b) the day on which section 4 of the Firearms Amendment Act 2007 comes into operation.
(4) If item 2.1(b) in Schedule 1 to the Relationships Act 2008 came into operation before the day on which this Act receives the Royal Assent, section 26 is deemed to have come into operation on the day on which item 2.1(b) in Schedule 1 to the Relationships Act 2008 came into operation.
(5) If item 2.1(b) in Schedule 1 to the Relationships Act 2008 comes into operation on or after the day on which this Act receives the Royal Assent, section 26 comes into operation on the day on which item 2.1(b) in Schedule 1 to the Relationships Act 2008 comes into operation.
(6) If section 9(1) of the Infringements and Other Acts Amendment Act 2008 came into operation before the day on which this Act receives the Royal Assent, section 28 is deemed to have come into operation on the day on which section 9(1) of the Infringements and Other Acts Amendment Act 2008 came into operation.
(7) If section 9(1) of the Infringements and Other Acts Amendment Act 2008 comes into operation on or after the day on which this Act receives the Royal Assent, section 28 comes into operation on the day on which section 9(1) of the Infringements and Other Acts Amendment Act 2008 comes into operation.
(8) Subject to subsection (9), sections 6, 13(2), 17, 18, 21, 22 and 25 come into operation on a day to be proclaimed.
(9) If section 6, 13(2), 17, 18, 21, 22 or 25 does not come into operation before 1 August 2008, it comes into operation on that day.
