JUSTICE LEGISLATION AMENDMENT ACT 2008 (NO. 21 OF 2008) - SECT 4

    (1)     Before section 7(2) of the Corrections Act 1986 insert —

    "(1)     The Secretary is responsible for monitoring performance in the provision of all correctional services to achieve the safe custody and welfare of prisoners and offenders.".

    (2)     In section 8A(2)(a) of the Corrections Act 1986 for "monitoring" substitute "assessing".
