JUSTICE LEGISLATION AMENDMENT (SYSTEM ENHANCEMENTS AND OTHER MATTERS) ACT 2021 (NO. 11 OF 2021) - SECT 89

Definitions

In section 3(1) of the Powers of Attorney Act 2014 insert the following definitions—

""remote witnessing procedure" means the procedure set out in section 5A;

"special witness "means—

        (a)     an Australian legal practitioner; or

        (b)     a justice of the peace appointed under section 7 of the Honorary Justices Act 2014 ; or

        (c)     a person who is a member of a prescribed class of person;".
