Victorian Numbered Acts

JUSTICE LEGISLATION AMENDMENT (SEX OFFENCES PROCEDURE) ACT 2008 (NO. 18 OF 2008) - SECT 1

The purpose of this Act is to amend the following Acts in relation to a legal proceeding that relates (wholly or partly) to a charge for a sexual offence—

        (a)     the Crimes Act 1958 ;

        (b)     the Crimes (Criminal Trials) Act 1999 ;

        (c)     the Evidence Act 1958 ;

        (d)     the Magistrates' Court Act 1989 ;

        (e)     the Sentencing Act 1991 ;

        (f)     the Sex Offenders Registration Act 2004 .
