LAND (MISCELLANEOUS) ACT 2004 (NO 21 OF 2004) - SECT 1

Purposes

The main purposes of this Act are—

        (a)     to revoke the reservations and Crown grants relating to certain land; and

        (b)     to amend the Melbourne Cricket Ground Act 1933 to provide for the reservation of a stratum of land at the Melbourne Cricket Ground and to consequentially amend the Melbourne Cricket Ground Trust Act 1989 .
