MAJOR CRIME (INVESTIGATIVE POWERS) ACT 2004 (NO 79 OF 2004) - SECT 74

In section 3(1) of the Police Regulation Act 1958 insert the following definitions—

' "police gaol" has the same meaning as in the Corrections Act 1986 ;

"prison" has the same meaning as in the Corrections Act 1986 but includes a youth training centre established under section 249 of the Children and Young Persons Act 1989 ;

"Special Investigations Monitor" means the Special Investigations Monitor appointed under section 5 of the Major Crime (Special Investigations Monitor) Act 2004 ;'.
