MAJOR CRIME (INVESTIGATIVE POWERS) ACT 2004 (NO 79 OF 2004) - SECT 86

Advice to complainant

        After section 86T(2) of the Police Regulation Act 1958 insert

    "(3)     Sub-section (1) or (2) does not apply if the Chief Commissioner or the Director (as the case requires) is of the opinion that it would be contrary to the public interest to advise the complainant of the results of the investigation or of the action taken or proposed to be taken.".
