Victorian Numbered Acts Victorian Numbered Acts(1) If a health practitioner proposes to administer medical treatment to which this Division applies to a person who does not have decision-making capacity for that medical treatment, a medical treatment decision must be obtained or ascertained in accordance with this Division.
(2) For the avoidance of doubt, medical treatment may be refused at any time during the course of the medical treatment being provided.
