MULTICULTURAL VICTORIA AMENDMENT ACT 2008 (NO. 80 OF 2008) - SECT 1

The purpose of this Act is to amend the Multicultural Victoria Act 2004 to—

        (a)     enhance the functions of the Victorian Multicultural Commission;

        (b)     provide for the appointment of a Director and other staff of the Victorian Multicultural Commission;

        (c)     amend the reporting requirements of Government Departments in the area of multicultural affairs;

        (d)     make other minor amendments.
