Victorian Numbered Acts Victorian Numbered Acts(1) A person must not, without lawful excuse (proof of which lies on the person), wilfully obstruct, hinder or resist the Director or any other person in the exercise of his or her powers under this Act.
Penalty: 120 penalty units or imprisonment for 12 months or both.
(2) A person must not, without lawful excuse (proof of which lies on the person), refuse or wilfully fail to comply with any lawful requirement of the Director or any other person in the exercise of his or her powers under this Act.
Penalty: 120 penalty units or imprisonment for 12 months or both.
(3) A person must not wilfully make a statement that the person knows to be false or misleading in a material particular or mislead or attempt to mislead the Director or any other person in the exercise of his or her powers under this Act.
Penalty: 120 penalty units or imprisonment for 12 months or both.
