STATE TAXATION ACTS (GENERAL AMENDMENT) ACT 2005 (NO 36 OF 2005) - SECT 2

    (1)     This Act, except Parts 2, 3, 5 and 7 and sections 12, 13(1), 19, 20, 21, 24(2), 24(3), 26, 27, 28, 29 and 30, comes into operation on the day after the day on which it receives the Royal Assent.

    (2)     Sections 24(3), 26, 28 and 29 (except sub-section (2)) are deemed to have come into operation on 1 January 2004.

    (3)     Section 13(1) is deemed to have come into operation on 13 May 2004.

    (4)     Part 7, except section 33, is deemed to have come into operation on 1 July 2004.

    (5)     Sections 24(2), 27, 29(2), 30 and 33 are deemed to have come into operation on 1 January 2005.

    (6)     Sections 19, 20 and 21 are deemed to have come into operation on 31 March 2005.

    (7)     Parts 2, 3 and 5 and section 12 are deemed to have come into operation on 1 July 2005.
