TRANSPORT LEGISLATION (AMENDMENT) ACT 2004 (NO 110 OF 2004) - SECT 45

    (1)     For section 89B(2)(a) of the Sentencing Act 1991 substitute —

    "(a)     in the case of a direction under section 89A(2), at least 6 months after the condition is imposed; or".

    (2)     In sections 89B(1) and 89C(1) of the Sentencing Act 1991 , for "or (3)(b)" substitute ", 89A(3)(b) or 89A(4)".

    (3)     In section 89C(1)(b) of the Sentencing Act 1991 —

        (a)     after "89A(3)(b)" insert "or 89A(4)";

        (b)     for "the minimum period set out in section 89B(2)(a) or (b) (whichever applies)" substitute "3 years".
