TRANSPORT LEGISLATION (FURTHER AMENDMENT) ACT 2006 (NO 47 OF 2006) - SECT 37

Powers of V/Line—Amendment of the Rail Corporations Act 1996

(1) After section 18(1)(c) of the Rail Corporations Act 1996 insert —

"(ca) to report on the activities of any person carrying out a function specified in paragraph (a), (b) or (c);".

(2) After section 18(2) of the Rail Corporations Act 1996 insert —

"(2A) Nothing in this Act affects or limits the Director's power under section 9(4) of the Transport Act 1983 to enter into an agreement, lease or licence with another person to carry out a function specified in sub-section (1).".
