TRANSPORT LEGISLATION (FURTHER AMENDMENT) ACT 2006 (NO 47 OF 2006) - SECT 46

    (1)     In section 125 of the Rail Safety Act 2006 , in proposed new section 228S(1) of the Transport Act 1983 insert the following proposed new definitions—

' "officer" has the same meaning as in the Rail Safety Act 2006 ;

"person" has the same meaning as in the Rail Safety Act 2006 ;'.

    (2)     In section 125 of the Rail Safety Act 2006 , in proposed new section 228S(1) of the Transport Act 1983 —

        (a)     in the proposed new definition of "utility", in proposed new paragraph (b), for " 2004 ." substitute " 2004 ;";

        (b)     after the proposed new definition of "utility" insert the following proposed new definition—

' "volunteer" has the same meaning as in the Rail Safety Act 2006 .'.
