AUSTRALIAN GRANDS PRIX (FORMULA ONE) REGULATIONS 2006 (SR NO 157 OF 2006) - REG 45

Direction to leave if offence committed

r. 45

    (1)     During the race period in respect of a year, if an authorised person or a member of the police force believes on reasonable grounds that a person has committed an offence against regulation 14(3), he or she may—

        (a)     inform the person that he or she has formed that belief; and

        (b)     direct the person to leave the reserved area.

    (2)     During the race period in respect of a year, if an authorised person or a member of the police force believes on reasonable grounds that a person has committed an offence against regulation 14(4), he or she may—

        (a)     inform the person that he or she has formed that belief; and

        (b)     direct the person to leave the reserved seat.

    (3)     During the race period in respect of a year, if an authorised person or a member of the police force believes on reasonable grounds that a person has committed an offence against regulation 37(3), he or she may—

        (a)     inform the person that he or she has formed that belief; and

        (b)     direct the person to leave the no smoking area.

    (4)     During the race period in respect of a year, if an authorised person or a member of the police force believes on reasonable grounds that a person has committed a relevant offence, he or she may—

        (a)     inform the person that he or she has formed that belief; and

        (b)     direct the person to leave the declared area in respect of that year or the designated access area.

    (5)                 In sub-regulation (4), a "relevant offence" means an offence against regulation 8, 9, 10, 11, 12, 13(3), 15(3), 15(4), 17(1), 18, 19, 20, 21, 22, 23, 24, 25, 26, 27, 28, 29, 30, 31, 32(1), 33, 34, 35, 36, 38, 40(1), 40(3), 40(4), 41 or 43(3).
