CHILDREN'S SERVICES REGULATIONS 2009 (SR NO 53 OF 2009) - REG 61

r. 61

The proprietor of a family day care service must ensure that each family day carer engaged to care for or educate children for the service—

        (a)     holds a Certificate III in Children's Services; or

        (b)             holds a qualification or has training the Secretary is satisfied is substantially equivalent or superior to the qualification referred to in paragraph (a); or

        (c)     is a qualified staff member or a teaching staff member; or

        (d)     holds a primary school teaching qualification.

Penalty:     10 penalty units.
